Synopsis
In a cluttered 1990s computer lab filled with CRT monitors, server racks and emergency lighting, Elena strides in and sharply questions the nervous technician Ryan about working on the Fourth of July. Alarm lights begin flashing as chrome humanoid robots smash through doors and emerge from the haze. Elena instantly shifts to combat mode, draws a compact handgun and fires while pulling Ryan toward the exit. She drags him down the aisle through sparks and flying papers, robots advancing behind them, and hauls him through the emergency door as red light flares across the frame. The 14-second sequence is shot on 35mm with practical effects, handheld urgency and hard cuts, presenting a self-contained, grounded action beat written and directed by Brent Lynch.
