Synopsis
Toshi, a reclusive street artist, wakes each morning to a new viral challenge that materializes around him: a flooded subway crawling with spider-vampires, a funhouse of childhood clowns that know his secrets, a zombie horde born from his buried grief. Friends and strangers tune in via livestream, urging him on while his mind fractures between the challenges and his mounting hallucinations. As the terrors escalate from personal phobias to city-wide outbreaks, Toshi realizes the monsters are fragments of collective trauma released by the app. He must decide whether to keep feeding the spectacle or destroy the platform by confronting the final demon—his own untreated insanity—in a live finale that could end the curse or unleash it forever. The film builds to a cathartic, blood-soaked climax where Toshi turns the camera on the audience, forcing viewers to face what they’ve been cheering.
The story
Toshi accepts the first challenge—a midnight subway flooded with spider-vampires—turning his quiet life into global spectacle overnight. Friends rally online while his buried traumas begin leaking into reality.
Challenges intensify, city blocks become sets, and Toshi’s psyche splits as he battles clowns that reenact his childhood abuse and zombies of lost loved ones. Alliances fracture when supporters demand bloodier content.
In the final dawn Toshi hijacks the feed, confronting the ultimate demon—himself—in a live broadcast that collapses the app and frees the city, leaving viewers to question what terrors they still carry.

Cold open
INT. TOKYO SUBWAY CAR - 3:17 A.M. Toshi, 28, hoodie up, sketches in a battered notebook. The train lurches to a stop. Lights flicker. Water begins seeping under the doors. TOSHI Not today. Please not today. The PA crackles with his own voice from yesterday’s upload: “Daily Challenge: TERROR. Release it or drown in it.” Water rises fast. Eight-legged shapes skitter across the ceiling. A vampire with a clown smile drops in front of him, fangs glistening. TOSHI (into phone) I’m live. Send help or shut it down. The creature lunges. Toshi draws a flaming trident that erupts from his sketchpad and swings.
