Synopsis

With power grids failing and alien drones closing in the pilot enlists a street-smart refugee a wounded soldier and a brilliant engineer to improvise repairs mid-runway. Explosions rock the tarmac as the plane lurches forward gathering impossible speed. The sequence becomes a symphony of screaming engines near-misses and split-second decisions that decide who lives and who becomes alien prey. Once airborne the survivors glimpse the scale of the invasion from above and realize their escape is only the first strike in humanity's counterattack. The story
