Synopsis
In a shattered realm where legends bleed into reality, Axe Hands awakens with rusted axe blades grafted to his wrists, summoned by a dying oracle to end the Hydra's rampage. Their first swing should be legendary, yet the beast's heads explode and reform before impact, ending the duel in a heartbeat and hurling Axe Hands into an abyss of echoes. What follows is no battle but a haunting descent through fractured timelines, forcing him to confront how every strike he never landed still scars the world. Haunted by phantom victories, Axe Hands allies with spectral remnants of past heroes while the Hydra evolves into something more sentient, taunting him with visions of battles that never occurred. Each regenerated head whispers his own forgotten name, blurring hunter and hunted until Axe Hands realizes the story's premature end was his only true beginning. The final confrontation demands he choose whether to sever the cycle or become its eternal head.
The story
Axe Hands is forged in fire and betrayal, receiving his axe hands from a fallen god and receiving the Hydra's call amid a collapsing city. Visions of an instant defeat haunt his first steps toward the lair.
The aborted clash fractures time; Axe Hands battles regenerating heads and his own past selves across ruined battlefields, losing allies to the Hydra's psychic whispers and questioning if victory is possible.
In the core of the Hydra's nest, Axe Hands confronts the truth of their shared origin, choosing to end not the beast but the endless loop itself in a sacrificial act that rewrites fate.

LAIR ENTRANCE - CONTINUOUS The HYDRA'S silhouette looms, nine heads swaying. Axe Hands leaps, axes raised. The central head SNAPS forward—impact never lands. The world fractures into screaming white.
