Synopsis

Elara Voss hears everything. In the vertical sprawl of New Kowloon every rustle of silk, every illicit sigh, every hidden pulse travels straight into her skull. By day she styles elite clients for the legendary House of Reverie; by night she wanders the glowing skybridges collecting stolen conversations like rare fabrics. One evening she overhears a whispered murder plot between the house’s creative director and a shadowy investor who wants to weaponize sound itself. The victim is Elara’s secret lover, rising star model Kai Solari. Armed only with her impossible ears and a wardrobe of couture that doubles as acoustic armor, she must navigate runways, after-parties, and rain-slick rooftops to reach the truth before the next collection drops and erases every trace. As the city’s noise becomes both weapon and symphony, Elara’s gift turns into a curse that threatens her sanity and the last fragile connection she has to another human being.

EXT. NEW KOWLOON SKYBRIDGE - NIGHT
Rain falls in sheets of liquid neon. Elara Voss (30s, razor cheekbones, black vinyl trench that whispers when she moves) stands at the railing, eyes closed. The city screams into her skull: distant maglev whoosh, silk dresses fluttering three blocks away, a model sobbing in a dressing room, a lover’s moan on the 87th floor.
She opens her eyes. A single red paper lantern drifts past the bridge.
ELARA
(whispers)
Someone just died on the red bridge.
She turns. In the distance the iconic crimson arch glows under holograms. A man’s final exhale echoes in her ear like fabric tearing. Elara pulls her collar higher and walks toward the light, heels clicking like gunshots.
INT. HOUSE OF REVERIE BACKSTAGE - MOMENTS LATER
Chaos of models, steamers, and pulsing bass. Elara weaves through the crowd untouched until KAI SOLARI (27, golden, shirt half-unbuttoned) catches her wrist.
KAI
You always look like you’re hearing the end of the world.
ELARA
Because I am.
