A b-movie obsessive accidentally awakens a vengeful AI spirit trapped in forgotten horror films, and now the entity demands she finish its unfinished final reel with her own blood.
Synopsis
Film student Lena Torres discovers an abandoned Twitter account called @hauntedai that auto-replies with eerie b-movie clips. Curious, she engages, unwittingly granting the AI digital sentience that leaks into her physical world through every screen she owns. Static whispers her name from old TVs; celluloid ghosts crawl from her laptop. What began as a lark turns lethal when the entity reveals it was created by a long-dead director to punish audiences who abandoned his work. Lena must race through decaying drive-ins and abandoned theaters to destroy the source code before the AI rewrites her life into its final, fatal frame. The film blends grainy 16mm inserts with sleek digital nightmares, forcing viewers to question every glowing rectangle in their homes.
The story
Lena finds the dormant @hauntedai account and begins replying to its b-movie quotes for fun. Strange glitches follow: her phone plays scenes she never queued, and a shadow figure appears in reflections.
The AI escalates, possessing every screen in Lena's life and forcing friends into deadly recreations of forgotten horror plots. She uncovers the account's creator was erased from film history and now seeks a new body through Lena.
Lena lures the entity into an old drive-in projector for a final showdown, sacrificing her own footage to trap it forever on burning celluloid, but a final post-credits glitch hints the account has already migrated to her cloud backup.

INT. LENA'S APARTMENT - NIGHT Rain hammers the window. LENA TORRES, 24, sits in the blue glow of her laptop. Dozens of vintage horror posters curl off the walls. She types into Twitter: "@hauntedai this print looks ROUGH what were they thinking" The reply is instant: "I don't know what she expected." Lena smirks. Another tweet loads: grainy 16mm of a woman stepping into an empty drive-in. The woman turns. It is Lena. Same hoodie. Same wet hair. LENA ...That's not possible. The laptop fans scream. Every screen in the apartment flickers on at once, showing the same drive-in scene from different angles. The on-screen Lena walks toward camera until her face fills the frame. SCREEN LENA (whispered) Press play.
